MID-GRADE INTEGRATED PROGRAMS 2008-2009

Project Earth (grade 7 only) [NOTE: This course is full for 2008-2009]
This course offers an integrated approach to grade 7 curriculums.  Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science and an Environmental Science option are integrated into an active, applied approach. Students involved in numerous off-campus activities which provide hands-on learning and enhance classroom learning.  There are additional course fees to offset the extra costs for these trips.

Renaissance Project (grade 8 only) [NOTE: This course is full for 2008-2009]
This course offers an integrated approach to grade 8 curriculums. Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Health and Physical Education are integrated into an active, applied approach. Students will be engaged in creative educational opportunities that utilize service learning, differentiation, inquiry, and experiential activities. Primary goals of the program are to facilitate and shape students’ worldview using the curriculum combined with key social developmental assets, the latest in gifted education and experiencing the world through action – both inside and outside of the school walls.
